Hello TEA!
A couple items to wrap up the week - Here’s the latest from TEA:

  • LAST CALL to order TEA Shirts/ Sweatshirts:
    • You may have already seen the fantastic new shirts and sweatshirts at your site. We have heard from so many people that missed the first opportunity that we have opened it up for those that missed the first deadline. Everyone who wants to wear their TEA pride is now able to do so, comfortably and by just picking out their favorite choice and sending their response through our Google form. You may choose one item (any item) and we will handle the ordering, shipping and sending to you. Take this opportunity to wear your Union pride. You may look at all options (hoodie, zipper sweatshirt, ladies cut, ladies cut v-neck, or unisex/men’s crew) in the form. Order HERE.
    • ALL ORDERS CLOSE ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26 AT NOON
    • If you have not received your original order product please call the office at 714.505.6365. We have already placed two orders and the first ones were sent back to sites with site reps. The next batch should be here soon.
  • CTA WHO AWARDS 2023 -
    • Each year we honor those who have made contributions to both education and union work. The formal recognition is the Whoo Award. Who stands for We Honor Our Own. Please congratulate them for their work towards our profession and for our union. This year’s TEA Recipient is Margie Wright from Loma Vista. She has worked as a Site Rep, our Insurance Chair and joined the bargaining team two years ago where she was pivotal in our work with costs of induction. She will be honored Thursday, April 27th at the Orange Service Center Awards Dinner. Congratulations Margie!
  • TEA Scholarship -
    • Thank you to everyone who donated this year to the TEA Scholarship drive. The great news is that you may contribute at any time, not just during the normal yearly drive, and that it’s TAX DEDUCTIBLE.  Check out our website to give a one time or monthly donation to continue helping our members' dependents pursue educational goals.
    • This year’s recipients:
